Hello, my name is Jonno Revanche, and I am a vegetarian.

I am vegan as a matter of fact!

I am also straight edge, and believe heavily in anti-religious politics. I am 20 years old, currently studying at the University of Adelaide andundertaking an Arts Degree. I am majoring in English and Social Sciences, though I have previously studied in Psychology and Music, especially Composition Studies. I plan to move into a post-grad psychology course once i’ve finished because I think human behaviour is one of the most fascinating things ever.

I started this blog for very selfish reasons and very insignificant reasons….I originally started it as an outlet to frantically pay homage to pop culture, counter-culture, straight edge, forward thinking and hedonism, but it also serves to channel my thoughts and constant observations of life into an accessible medium. Being a music fan, a lot of my blog touches on music and the sub-cultures that historically surround different genres of music. I have a deep love for Film, Literature, Art, aswell as what is listed above, such as Music, Vegans and Heathens.

I know this may be obvious, but politically I strongly believe in equal rights, especially animal rights, aswell as anti-drug and anti-religious views. (Though the iconography of catholicism still strongly appeals to me…I think the bible is a great story. You know what they say, you can take the boy out of Catholic School, but you can’t take the Catholic School from the boy.)

Ever since I was young I’ve wanted to be in a band (specifically a hardcore band) and have been involved in youth theatre when I was a child and was backstage in 4 high school musicals. I sing, play keyboard, piano and programming for Pancakes in the Rough. I currently have a part-time job “money” job, but aside from that I occasionally model, perform, write and obsess about clothing, customizing a lot of my threads. I’ve contributed to a few publications over time but the one where i direct most of my energy is DAMNED mag.
